FAQ's
This isn’t complicated – but it is new.
Here’s what you need to know before you start working for sats.
What is Work For Satoshi?
Work For Satoshi is a Bitcoin-only freelance marketplace. It connects people who want to get paid in Bitcoin with people who need work done – no banks, no middlemen. Just peer-to-peer work and instant sats payments.
How does it work?
Clients post jobs. Freelancers apply. When the work’s done, payment is made in Bitcoin – directly to the freelancer’s wallet. We don’t hold your money. We take a tiny percentage. We help people connect and work.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Nope. Just an email address. We don’t ask for passports, selfies, or government-issued anything. You work with your skills and your portfolio – not your paperwork. That said: do your own due diligence. It’s a trust-minimised platform, not trustless.
What kind of jobs can I find here?
Design. Development. Writing. Editing. Translating. Strategy. Finance. Bitcoin-native projects and regular digital gigs – as long as payment is in sats, it belongs here.
Do I need a Bitcoin wallet to get paid?
Yes. We recommend using a self-custody wallet where you hold the keys. If you’re new, we’ll have guides to help you get set up safely – fast.
